Privacy policy.

This site is operated by Manny Film LLC (“we”), the producer of the documentary Manny. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to get rid of us. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address, and only if you type it into the mailing-list form. Nothing else — we do not ask for your name, location, or phone number.
- Anonymous visit statistics — page views, referring site, country, browser and device type — through Vercel Web Analytics. This is cookieless and does not identify you or follow you to other sites, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, we do not build profiles, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Why we collect it
The email address is used for one purpose: to send occasional updates about Manny — where it is streaming, and news about the film. A few times a year at most. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form and confirm it by clicking the link we email you. We will never use your address for anything else.
Who else processes it
- Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit) stores the mailing list and delivers the emails.
- Vercel hosts this website and provides the analytics described above.
Both are US-based, so your information is processed in the United States. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement with us. We never sell, rent, trade or share your address with anyone else, for any reason.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a record that you unsubscribed, indefinitely, for the sole purpose of making sure you are never added back.
Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send you a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time — the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email does this in one click, with no login and no questions — and that does not affect anything we did while consent was valid.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or the Philippines, you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals. No third party collects personally identifiable information about your activity across sites through this site.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has subscribed, write to us and we will remove the address.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Material changes affecting the mailing list will also be announced in an email to subscribers.
