The film

A boxing documentary, not a highlight reel.

Directed by Ryan Moore with Academy Award winner Leon Gast (When We Were Kings), Manny follows Pacquiao from an impoverished childhood in General Santos, Philippines, through the twelve-year, forty-two-pound climb that made him the only boxer to win world titles in eight weight divisions — and into the congressional seat he held while still fighting. 88 minutes, with never-before-seen home footage. It premiered at SXSW and the TCL Chinese Theatre and was released internationally by Universal Pictures.
